Description

This is a recorded webinar from October 18, 2022.

The Coalition of American Structural Engineers (CASE) states “there continues to be a gap between the ability of the construction design profession to adequately describe its design and the ability of the construction industry to adequately develop a bid and schedule representative of that which is required to construct projects.” As a result, CASE published “Addressing Coordination and Completeness of Structural Construction Documents” and Drawing Review Checklists. In addition, IBC and ACI Codes require specific information to be included in construction documents.

This seminar addresses what needs to be in construction documents, benefits of coordinated and completed construction documents, and includes information that can be incorporated into the engineer’s Quality Management Plan..
